Eyes on the Go, Inc. announced that it is introducing a premium live broadcast solution including high definition (HD) streaming to its customers this December. This premium service will enable venues to use multiple cameras with visual transition effects. A single technician can stage a professional presentation at a fraction of the normal costs.

Due to high video production costs, competitors are limited to the number of events they can broadcast and hope to cover through advertising or pay-per-view. The company's solution represents a savings of 70% to 80% of their costs. This solution will disintermediate existing video production companies who do not have this leverage in providing content for distribution.

This opens up a world of opportunity to GANDER.tv, its customers and performers. The company confirmed that the system upgrade includes a new on-site Controller, a Sony High Definition (HD) camera, improved audio performance, a video switch and local camera controls. The backend software allows for multiple bands of variable bit rate that will modulate the delivered stream based on the available bandwidth at the consumer's device in addition to more efficient video editing.

The first system will be implemented at Webster Hall, one of the nation's performance venues. Webster Hall recently upgraded its broadband capabilities to handle the increased demand for bandwidth required for HD streaming. The company will be utilizing this approach for select pay-per-view events planned for the end of the month.
