OOO Delo-Center is not holding negotiations to buy a stake in Far-Eastern Shipping Company PLC. (MISX:FESH), Delo Chief Executive Officer Sergei Shishkarev said. "I've repeatedly said before and do not disavow my words - Fesco is a very interesting asset for [Delo Group], which is obvious even to a person far removed from the container transport business. But the group is not holding any negotiations on this at present. Besides, there's a host of other interesting assets for us, both in the stevedoring business and in 3PL transport," Shishkarev said in an interview with Kommersant published on November 30, 2020. Delo Group is not involved in any way in the management of Fesco's Commercial Port of Vladivostok (VMTP) (MOEX: VMTP), an agreement on which Fesco signed with state nuclear corporation Rosatom, Shishkarev said. "No, the group has nothing to do with the management of VMTP. Rosatom is a huge conglomerate, and although it owns 30% of shares in the equity of Delo Group's head company, Delo Management Company, this does not at all mean that all Rosatom management decisions are automatically projected on us," he said. "Rosatom is fulfilling its national objective, the development of the Northern Sea Route. If you look at the geography from this point of view, the decision to take over management of VMTP becomes obvious and understandable," Shishkarev said.
