FinTech Global Incorporated (TSE:8789) agreed to acquire an additional 6.67% stake in GeoplanNamtech Inc. from Tsunehiko Nishizawa on April 11, 2019. FinTech Global will acquire 400 shares. In a related transaction, FinTech Global agreed to sell 56% stake in GeoplanNamtech Inc. to Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. Tsunehiko Nishizawa owns 16.7% stake and FinTech Global owns 83.3% stake. On completion of both of the transactions, FinTech Global will own 34% stake. As of September 30, 2018, GeoplanNamtech reported total assets of ¥293 million and net assets of ¥91 million. The Board of Directors of FinTech Global Incorporated resolved the transaction on April 11, 2019. The transaction is expected to compete in May 2019. As on May 31, 2019, the transaction is expected to complete on May 31, 2019.
