FLC Joint Stock : Group plans to develop a smart urban complex in Thai Binh province

FLC Group and officials of Thai Binh province had a meeting in the morning of July 24th, led by Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien - chairman of Thai Binh province's People's Committee.

Present at this meeting were Mr. Pham Van Ca, standing deputy chairman of Thai Binh's People's Committee, as well as representatives from related agencies and authorities.

From FLC Group, there were Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Board Chairman, Mr. Le Thanh Vinh - CEO, as well as associated consultants and department heads.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien introduced to FLC Group's delegation the location, geography, and other advantages of Thai Binh province in economic development; welcoming investment policies in agriculture, service, tourism... He also talked about the current master planning and land use in the new administrative center, southern Kien Giang river, Vu Thu and Vu Dong communes.

These locations have beautiful landscapes and convenient traffic connections. They were introduced to FLC Group for consideration and selection for effective investment.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that Thai Binh had over 5,000 businesses but not many are big enough. In order to create motivation for local socio-economic development, Thai Binh needs private enterprises with experience and financial prowess such as FLC.

Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, FLC Group's Board Chairman, spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, FLC Group's Chairman commended the enthusiasm and passion of Thai Binh's officials in calling for investment, as well as the province's economic potentials.

FLC expressed the wish to develop a smart urban complex in the center of Thai Binh city, on 300-500 ha of land, with comprehensive amenities such as artificial beach, golf course, entertainment park, shopping mall, apartments, townhouses and villas...

Also according to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, the early development of such project will require very strong commitment from local officials. They will need to work hard on land acquisition, administrative procedures as well as supportive policies for investors.

FLC Group went on a site survey with Thai Binh's officials.

Also on July 24th, FLC Group's delegation also surveyed four locations introduced by the local authority in order to review the natural and social conditions there.

This is the second time within two months that FLC Group's directors surveyed potential development sites in Thai Binh, showing the commitment to turn this plan into reality.

With enthusiastic support from various authorities, after this site survey trip, FLC Group will commence preparation for this project.
