1.March 2022 v. February 2022 Consolidated Operating Revenue Comparison:
Operating revenue for March 2022 was NT$68.7 billion compared with NT$52.3
billion for February 2022, an increase of 31.4%, totaling NT$16.4 billion.
In addition, there was an increase of NT$6.8 billion and NT$9.6 billion in
sales volume and sales price respectively therefrom.
a.Operating revenue for refining business had increased by 27.7% compared to
  February 2022.
 Volume:
  The refining throughput was 10,468 thousand barrels in March 2022, an
  increase of 280 thousand barrels compared to February 2022. The total sales
  volume was 11,846 thousand barrels in March 2022, an increase of 701
  thousand barrels compared to February 2022.
 Price:
  Dubai crude oil price in March 2022 had risen US$18.6 per barrel compared
  to February 2022, while the average petroleum sales price had only
  increased by US$13.2 per barrel as a result of government's oil price
  stabilization mechanism and the pricing periods for export products.
b.Operating revenue for naphtha cracking business had increased by 40.5%
  compared to February 2022.
 Volume:
  The ethylene throughput was 253 thousand tons in March 2022, an increase of
  22 thousand tons compared to February 2022. The total sales volume was 714
  thousand tons in March 2022, an increase of 133 thousand tons compared to
  February 2022 due to inventory scheduling.
 Price:
  The average olefins sales price had risen US$148 per ton compared to
  February 2022 owing to the rising prices of naphtha and tight supply;
  ethylene price +US$171 per ton, propylene price +US$152 per ton, butadiene
  +US$288 per ton, and pyrolysis gasoline +US$164 per ton therefrom.
2.March 2022 v. March 2021 Consolidated Operating Revenue Comparison:
Operating revenue for March 2022 was NT$68.7 billion compared with NT$46.6
billion for March 2021, an increase of 47.3%, totaling NT$22.1 billion. In
addition, there was an increase of NT$1.4 billion and NT$20.7 billion in
sales volume and sales price respectively therefrom.
a.Operating revenue for refining business had increased by 65.9% compared to
  March 2021.
 Volume:
  The refining throughput was 10,468 thousand barrels in March 2022, a
  decrease of 115 thousand barrels compared to March 2021. However, the total
  sales volume in March 2022 was 11,846 thousand barrels, an increase of
  1,607 thousand barrels compared to March 2021 due to the sailing schedule.
 Price:
  The average petroleum sales price in March 2022 was US$114.4 per barrel, an
  increase of US$42.0 per barrel compared to March 2021 since Dubai crude oil
  price had risen US$46.5 per barrel.
b.Operating revenue for naphtha cracking business had increased by 31.9%
  compared to March 2021.
 Volume:
  The ethylene throughput was 253 thousand tons in March 2022, a decrease of
  23 thousand tons compared to February 2022. The total sales volume was 714
  thousand tons in March 2022, which was close to the total sales volume in
  March 2021 due to inventory scheduling.
 Price:
  The average olefins sales price had risen US$278 per ton compared to
  March 2021; ethylene price +US$291 per ton, propylene price +US$225 per
  ton, butadiene +US$231 per ton, and pyrolysis gasoline +US$377 per ton
  therefrom.
