Foster Electric Company, Limited (TSE:6794) agreed to acquire 99.99% stake in SUZUKI KANSHI (THAILAND) CO., LTD. from unknown sellers on September 19, 2017. Foster Electric will acquire 0.02 million shares in the transaction. The share acquisition price was determined in reference to an evaluation by a third party. SUZUKI KANSHI (THAILAND) CO., LTD. reported net assets of THB 167 million, total assets of THB 172 million and net sales of THB 103 million as of December 31, 2016. The transaction is expected to close on October 1, 2017 and will not have a material impact on the consolidated results of the current fiscal year.
