FPT's Samyan Mitrtown recognised by ASEAN Energy Awards 2021 for best practices in energy efficiency and conservation

BANGKOK, 22 SEPTEMBER 2021

Samyan Mitrtown, the completed mixed-use project developed by Frasers Property Thailand (FPT), recently won a regional award in the category of Energy Efficiency and Conservation for New and Existing Building from ASEAN Energy Awards 2021, held by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). Samyan Mitrtown is the sole mixed-use development in Thailand to have been nominated and awarded on this prestigious regional platform. In addition, it had received the national recognition from Thailand Energy Award 2021, organised by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy earlier this year.

The award was presented to Mr. Thanapol Sirithanachai, Country Chief executive officer of Frasers Property Thailand Public Company Limited. It is a testament of Samyan Mitrtown being an exemplary energy-savingmixed-use building that strikes a good balance between preserving the nature and users' quality of life.

Samyan Mitrtown has also been accorded other awards in recognition of its outstanding energy conservation efforts as follows:

  • Excellence Award for New and Existing Building, ASEAN Energy Awards 2021
  • Excellence Award for New and Existing Building, Thailand Energy Awards 2021
  • Gold Level, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Standards
