The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland announces three new members to its Education Advisory Council, with terms beginning July 2021 and running through December 2023. The new members are: Dr. Sandy D. Womack Jr. is a veteran public-school educator and has served four of Ohio's Big 8 school districts. He is currently an area superintendent for Columbus Public Schools. Prior to his current role, Womack held positions in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District, where he served as director of curriculum and instruction, director of principal leadership, and leader of the district's Equity Task Force. Tom Burton is the superintendent of Princeton City Schools, located just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. He has been in school administration since 1995 and has been with the Princeton school district since 2015. He is the author of Mark of Leadership: Strategies for Leading with Purpose, Plans, and Passion. Matt Frey is the executive director of the Kentucky Financial Empowerment Commission. He has five years of experience researching financial literacy and financial education. His research began at Northern Kentucky University's Center for Economic Education. Frey also conducted research at the George Washington University Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center.
