Cautionary Announcement Performance forecast for the six months ended 30 June 2023

G4S Botswana Limited is a provider of integrated security solutions based in Botswana and has been publicly listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) since 12 June 1991. With operations throughout Botswana, G4S Botswana provides solutions to both private and public sector clients, working to meet the safety and security needs of individuals, communities, and businesses.

In line with section 5.4c of the Listing Requirements of the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE), an issuer must publish a cautionary announcement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the expected matrix will differ by at least 10% from the most recent financial results for the previous corresponding period. In this respect, the Board of G4S Botswana Limited wishes to advise shareholders that the Companyś's comprehensive income of P1,119 million for the half year ended 30 June 2023 is expected to be approximately P1,139 million or 50.5% below the P2,258 million reported for the comparative period ended 30 June 2022.

The Directors would like to report that they are confident about the Group continuing as a going concern and that the ongoing initiatives to collect outstanding debt owed to the company will improve profitability and liquidity going forward. The company confirms that its half-year results will be released on or before 30 September 2023.

In light of this announcement, shareholders and investors remain advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company's securities until the formal publication of the half-year results.
