gategroup's Chief Financial Officer Thomas Bucher to Step Down

ZURICH, September 17, 2014 - gategroup's Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Management Board Thomas Bucher will step down from his role, effective December 31, 2014, to pursue new personal and professional interests. An announcement on his succession will be made in due course.

Thomas Bucher served as the Group's Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the Executive Management Board since May 2008. Thomas made many contributions during his tenure as CFO of gategroup, including leading the listing of gategroup at the SIX Swiss Exchange in May 2009, and executing the finance strategy including debt and equity financings as well as the tax structuring of the Group.

Andreas Schmid, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Andrew Gibson, CEO of gategroup, said: "Management and the Board of Directors regret Thomas' decision to leave gategroup after more than six successful years and thank Thomas for his strong commitment, guidance and leadership during his tenure as CFO of gategroup."
