German insurer Talanx is the 57th foreign company listed on WSE.
Talanx is the third largest insurance group in Germany and the eighth largest insurance group in Europe.
Shares of the German insurance company Talanx have been newly listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange today. The issuer is the 454th company listed on the Main Market and the 9th new listing on the market in 2014. Talanx is also the 57th foreign company listed on WSE (47 companies on the Main Market and 10 companies on NewConnect).

According to statistics published by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), Talanx - present in Poland through the subsidiaries Warta and TU Europe - has the second position in the Polish insurance market. After Germany, Poland is the second key market of the Talanx Group.
With revenue at EUR 28.1 billion and a headcount of 21,500 employees (2013), Talanx is the third largest insurance group in Germany and the eighth largest insurance group in Europe. With its head office in Hannover, the group is present in 150 countries. Talanx operates many brands and focuses on the B2B insurance segment. The Talanx group includes companies under the following brands: HDI-Gerling (global industrial insurer) Hannover Re (a leading reinsurer), Targo Insurers, PB Insurers, Neue Leben (which specialises in bancassurance) and the financial services provider AmpegaGerling.
