Monthly review

People's mobility continued to increase in May because of Golden Week holidays without COVID-19 restrictions for the first time in three years and a gradual decline in new cases of infection through the month.

Moreover, the weather temperature was low for the time of year, which resulted in an increase in customer traffic.

As a result, in May, all stores sales increased by 35.5% and same stores sales including period with shorter business hours and excluding it increased by 14.7% and 2.3%, respectively year on year. *We planned a 14.4% increase of same stores sales including the period on an annual basis at the

time of formulation of forecast of the fiscal year ending October 31, 2022.
