Ginegar Plastic Products Ltd. is an Israel-based developer and producer of greenhouses cover films and mulch films for open field cultivation. The Company markets its products in Israel, Europe and North America through its subsidiaries: Ginegar Marketing (1984) Ltd., Ginegar Plastic Inc., Hyplast N.V. and Klerks Hyplast Inc. The product applications include greenhouse covers, mulch films for soil protection and disinfection, barrier films for soil fumigation, liners for ponds and reservoirs and for chemical fertilizer bags. The mechanical, optical and thermal characteristics of the films ensure durability, resistance to hostile weather conditions, controlled light penetration, good dust resistance and reduced pest activity. The films are produced largely on multi-layer (co-extrusion) blown film extruders, as well as two multi-layer cast (flat die) extruders that produce embossed films, almost exclusively for producing mulch films.
