Global Partners LP (NYSE:GLP), Energy North, Inc. and Nouria Energy Corporation acquired 32 convenience stores in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire from VERC Enterprises, Inc. on March 30, 2021. Paul Vercollone, current co-owner and vice president of Duxbury, Mass.-based VERC Enterprises, will continue to operate these locations with his sons Nick and Chris Vercollone. Two Briteway Car Wash locations, one in Marshfield, Mass. and one in Norwell, Mass., which will remain under the ownership of the VERC. Raymond James & Associates acted as financial advisor to VERC Enterprises, Inc.
Global Partners LP (NYSE:GLP), Energy North, Inc. and and Nouria Energy Corporation completed the acquisition of 32 convenience stores in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire from VERC Enterprises, Inc. on March 30, 2021. Nouria Energy acquired 17 VERC convenience store locations inclusive of 2 with adjoining carwash operations, while Energy North acquired 11 VERC locations in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire.
Global Partners LP owns, controls, or has access to terminal networks of refined petroleum products and renewable fuels in Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Its segments include Wholesale, Gasoline Distribution and Station Operations (GDSO) and Commercial. Wholesale segment engages in the logistics of selling, gathering, blending, storing and transporting refined petroleum products, gasoline blendstocks, renewable fuels, crude oil and propane. In GDSO segment, gasoline distribution includes sales of branded and unbranded gasoline to gasoline station operators and sub-jobbers. Station operations include convenience store sales, rental income from gasoline stations leased to dealers and sundries. Commercial segment includes sales and deliveries to end user customers in the public sector and to commercial and industrial end users of unbranded gasoline, home heating oil, kerosene, residual oil and bunker fuel.
