GNC Holdings announced that Ryan Ostrom will be joining the company as chief brand officer on July 1 from his current post at Yum Brands (YUM), where he is global chief digital officer for the food conglomerate's KFC unit. The company also announced it has promoted Carl Seletz to the role of Chief Global Officer, effectively immediately. In his new post, Seletz will lead GNC's international retail, wholesale and distribution functions as well as its e-commerce platform after six year as the senior vice president of international at the company. Rachel Jones, currently vice president of international merchandising and marketing, also was promoted to vice president of global brands.
