Goodpatch Inc. announced that it has received ¥400 million in an equity round of funding on February 19, 2016. The transaction included participation from existing investor, DG Incubation, Inc. and other new investors including Salesforce Ventures, SMBC Venture Capital Co., Ltd., SBI Investment Co., Ltd. and FiNC Co., Ltd. The transaction is by way of third party capital increase in the company.
Goodpatch Inc conducts business activities with the aim of making people's lives more convenient and easier through design. The Company operates in two business segments. The Design Partner provides experience design (UI / UX) design support, and UX designers and UI designers design projects for client companies (clients) who mainly want to advance the design development of digital products such as websites and smartphone applications. It carries out the design process while leading the way and support the realization of the UI / UX design that client companies really need. The Design Platform segment is engaged in the support of UI / UX design support provided by the design partner business from various aspects. It supports the process from the effective use of design to the release as a product from the viewpoint of software, in-house design personnel, and design business environment, and functions as a platform that supports the design partner business.
