Optic Retail International Group BENE entered into an agreement to acquire 142 EyeWish stores in the Netherlands and 35 GrandOptical stores in Belgium from EssilorLuxottica Société anonyme (ENXTPA:EL), GrandVision N.V..

Optic Retail International Group BENE entered into an agreement to acquire 142 EyeWish stores in the Netherlands and 35 GrandOptical stores in Belgium from EssilorLuxottica Société anonyme (ENXTPA:EL), GrandVision N.V. (ENXTAM:GVNV) on December 23, 2021. Transaction is subject to European Commission approval, and expected to be closed in first quarter of 2022. As of April 4, 2022.

European Commission has approved the transaction. Banca di Credito Finanziario, and Lazard acted as financial advisors, Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Stibbe B.V.
