Groupon, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 126.47 million compared to USD 144.39 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 41.36 million compared to USD 56.22 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 1.31 compared to USD 1.86 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 377.19 million compared to USD 450.93 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 83.11 million compared to USD 182.3 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 2.68 compared to USD 6.06 a year ago.

Goods category includes merchandise across multiple product lines, such as electronics, sporting goods, jewelry, toys, household items and apparel. Travel category features travel experiences at both discounted and market rates, including hotels, airfare and package deals covering both domestic and international travel. The customer can contact the merchant directly to make a travel reservation after purchasing a travel voucher from the Company.
