Euna Solutions announced the appointment of Tom Amburgey as chief executive officer. In this role, Amburgey will lead the overall strategic direction of Euna. Amburgey will collaborate closely with teams across the organization to develop business plans and growth initiatives that align with the company?s mission and vision, while prioritizing and defining an exceptional and differentiated customer experience.

A seasoned leader with more than 20 years of government technology experience, Amburgey held leadership positions with both government technology solutions providers and local municipalities. Prior to joining Euna, he served as CEO at Civix, a leading provider of services and software solutions for the public sector. Before Civix, Amburgey served as the senior vice president and general manager of public administration at CentralSquare Technologies, where he led a team that provided software and services to over 3,000 government agencies across North America.

At CentralSquare, he also led several mergers and acquisitions and championed new strategies to successfully bring together a variety of businesses and their unique cultures. In addition to vast experience working at government technology providers, Amburgey also brings experience working in the public sector, having served as CIO for the City of Hallandale Beach and the Village of Wellington in Florida. In his tenure at these municipalities, he led numerous IT reorganization and modernization initiatives, oversaw aggressive ERP implementations and drove multiple business redesign efforts.

During that time, Amburgey was also a customer of several Euna Solutions? products, such as DemandStar (Euna Procure) and Questica (Euna Budget).
