NOTIFICATION OF CLOSED PERIOD AND BOARD MEETING FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE COMPANY'S UNAUDITED ACCOUNTS AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AS AT SEPTEMBER 30, 2023.

Lagos, Nigeria - September 25, 2023: Pursuant to the post-listing requirements of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) for quoted companies, Guaranty Trust Holding Company plc ("the Company") hereby informs the NGX and the investing public that the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet on October 24, 2023, to consider the Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ending September 30, 2023.

Accordingly, in compliance with the NGX post-listing requirements, the closed period for trading in the Company's shares by insiders will commence on October 1, 2023 and will expire 24 hours after the announcement of the results.

The Company will notify the market of the decisions reached at the meeting.
