Hanil Iron & Steel Co., Ltd reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 51,547.95 million compared to KRW 60,581.37 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 499.32 million compared to KRW 447.67 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 41 compared to KRW 18 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 41 compared to KRW 18 a year ago. HANIL IRON& STEEL CO., LTD is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of steel products. The Company produces and wholesales iron plates such as hot rolled steels, thick plates and shape steels used for automobile parts, ship machineries, construction, boilers and others.
