Notice Concerning Acquiring ISCC PLUS Certification
Hanwa Co., Ltd("Hanwa") has obtained International Sustainability & Carbon Certification with both ISCC PLUS (as of September 27, 2023) and ISCC EU (as of December 2022).
Hanwa will promote business activities that meet the social needs of customers with these certifications, in line with our policy of expanding the handling of biomass products and recycled products aiming to realize a decarbonized society.
ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is an international certification system utilizing such as mass balance.to manage and ensure sustainable feedstocks in the sustainable and global supply chain.
ISCC EU covers biofuels in the EU market, ISCC PLUS covers bio-based and recycled feedstock products using the mass balance approach outside the EU market.
