Notice about the No.3 blast furnace of PT Dexin Steel Indonesia succeeded in
initial firing
PT Dexin Steel Indonesia, of which Hanwa Co. Ltd has a 10% stake in Indonesia Sulawesi Island, has started operating the No.3 blast furnace that was being constructed.
Following the completion of the No.1 and No.2 blast furnaces, the No.3 blast furnace has been completed, increasing production capacity to 7 million tons per year.
Armed with Dexin's slabs, billets, wire rods and round bars, Hanwa can now focus on expanding sales volumes to both Indonesian and regional customers. This is in line with Hanwa's aim to develop the ASEAN region as their second base of operations.
