HITT WINS CONTRACT FROM CHITTAGONG PORT AUTHORITY IN BANGLADESH
HITT Traffic has been awarded the tender to supply a Vessel Traffic Management Information System (VTMIS) to the Chittagong Port Authority in Bangladesh. The contract will be realized by HITT (HK) Ltd. in the next 18 months.
A VTMIS system provides a safe and smooth flow of traffic and takes care of the planning and streamlining of the logistic processes in the port. The order in Chittagong includes the latest technology, including radars, closed circuit TV (CCTV), as well as communications and civil works that will be carried out by a local partner. Chittagong is the largest port in Bangladesh and in the Bengal Gulf an important distribution center for the region.
The contract has a value of over US$ 5 million.
