HolidayCheck Group AG announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter of 2019. The company achieved a 1.9% EUR 0.8 million increase in first-quarter revenue from EUR 41.4 million in 2018 to EUR 42.2 million in the current financial year. EBIT fell by 62.2% EUR 2.8 million from EUR 4.5 million in the first quarter of 2018 to EUR 1.7 million. At EUR 1.0 million, consolidated net profit for the first quarter of 2019 was down EUR 2.4 million (70.1%) on the corresponding 2018 figure of EUR 3.4 million. Basic earnings per share fell by EUR 0.04, from EUR 0.06 in the first quarter of 2018 to EUR 0.02 in the first quarter of 2019.

Looking ahead at financial 2019 as a whole, the Management Board anticipates a year-on-year increase of between 7% and 12% in consolidated sales revenue after adjusting for acquisitions, disposals and new company formations.
