1. Market segment development in HY1
- Q1 still heavily affected by travel restrictions, the relaxations led to a quick and strong increase in booking demand in Q2.
- Demand for both package tours and hotels grew significantly in Q2, even compared to 2019 levels.
- However, with the rise of the delta variant and subsequent declarations of various areas (esp. Spain) as high-risk areas, bookings dropped again, and number of cancellations increased.

1. Development of HolidayCheck Group
- After a weak Q1 demand for holiday travels recovered in Q2 with most departures planned for Q3 and Q4.
- Increasing spread of Delta variant led to dampened demand as of mid June.
- Continued cost discipline and targeted marketing enables us to both serve market demand and manage the bottom line - at break-even in June.
- Revenue shows only departed trips until 30 June 2021 - bookings of well above EUR 100 million total transaction value (TTV) with departures in HY2 in our systems.
