Home Invest Belgium appoints Preben Bruggeman as CEO

Brussels, 27 March 2024 - The Board of Directors of Home Invest Belgium appoints Preben Bruggeman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The Board of Directors of Home Invest Belgium SA/NV has appointed Mr Preben Bruggeman as Chief Executive Officer, subject to the approval of the FSMA. The appointment of Mr Bruggeman as executive director will be presented during the next general shareholders' meeting, subject to the approval of the FSMA.

Preben has more than 15 years' experience in the property sector, where he has held a variety of positions.

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Home Invest Belgium, Preben has played an important role in the growth and professionalisation of the company over the past 5 years. Prior to joining Home Invest Belgium in January 2019, Preben was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Effective leader of the BE-REIT Qrf City Retail. Preben began his career at Degroof Petercam as an equity analyst responsible for the real estate sector. He then moved to Degroof Petercam's Corporate Finance department, where he played an important role in numerous capital market transactions (issuing shares, bonds and real estate certificates), setting up private equity funds and assisting companies with mergers and acquisitions in the real estate sector.

Preben holds a master's degree in commercial engineering and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Antwerp. He has also successfully completed the three levels of the CFA

(Chartered Financial Analyst) program. He is a guest lecturer at the KU Leuven Kulak.
