Hong Yi Fiber Ind. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 510.829 million compared to TWD 532.312 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 59.012 million compared to TWD 59.358 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 50.078 million compared to TWD 49.759 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.38 compared to TWD 0.38 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.38 compared to TWD 0.37 a year ago.
HONG YI FIBER IND. CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and marketing of textured polyester yarns. The products of the Company include ultra-fine finished fiber yarns, full-dull yarns, colorful three tone yarns, environmental friendly finished yarns and yarns for layered cloth. The Companyâs products are applied in the manufacture of overcoats, pants, casual wear, home decoration fabrics and industrial fabrics, among others.
