Host Hotels & Resorts : Employees Thank Those Who Serve with Operation Gratitude

In honor of Veteran's Day, Host's service team partnered with Operation Gratitude in support of its mission to thank every American who serves by creating care packages that will be sent to our military and first responder communities. Volunteers stuffed 100 "Battalion Buddy" bears to comfort children of our nation's deployed troops, assembled 300 personal hygiene kits and wrote letters of appreciation for our military, veteran and first responder communities. Additionally, the team supported a local small business by providing sweet treats from Dog Tag Bakery-a non-profit bakery, kitchen and classroom space supporting veterans and their families through a fellowship program that combines education and real-life work experience.
