Howteh Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 964.79 million compared to TWD 898.81 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 77.99 million compared to TWD 23.34 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.1974 compared to TWD 0.3628 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.1974 compared to TWD 0.3538 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 1,719.38 million compared to TWD 1,724.19 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 130.8 million compared to TWD 61 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.0047 compared to TWD 0.9343 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.9956 compared to TWD 0.9343 a year ago.
Howteh Technology Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the distribution of passive electronic components. The Company mainly provides electronic components, which include connectors, wires, semiconductor parts and electroacoustic products; as well as electronic equipment and materials, which include printed circuit board (PCB) and integrated circuit (IC) substrate manufacturing equipment and relevant chemicals, touch panels, optoelectronic and semiconductor manufacturing and testing equipment and relevant materials. The Company distributes its products mainly in Taiwan and Mainland China.
