Non-Consolidated Difference Compared to Previous Year Results

HOYA CORPORATION ("the Company") announces today a significant difference between its non-consolidatedfull-year financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021 and the results of the previous year as per below in conformity with the timely disclosure rules set by TSE. The Company did not announce its full-year outlook at the beginning of the fiscal year. Therefore, the difference is based on a comparison with the results of the previous year. The Company also announced today its consolidated full-year financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021.

2． Reasons for significant change

Regarding to non-consolidated result of this fiscal year, ordinary profit and net profit rose year over year thanks to increased dividends income from its affiliated companies this fiscal year.
