Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. said Monday that it expects to report more than doubled earnings for fiscal 2021.

The South African platinum miner said it expects to report headline earnings for the year ended June 30 of between 35.8 billion and 36.8 billion rand ($2.43 billion-$2.50 billion) and headline earnings per share of between ZAR45.64 and ZAR46.91. This compares with ZAR16.13 billion and ZAR20.75 respectively for fiscal 2020.

Basic earnings for the period are expected to be between ZAR46.5 billion and ZAR47.5 billion, while basic EPS are expected to be between ZAR59.28 and ZAR60.56, the company said. This compares with ZAR16.1 billion and ZAR20.66 respectively for fiscal 2020.

The company is due to report its earnings on Sept. 2.
