Industrias Peñoles, S.A.B. de C.V. announced consolidated earnings and operating results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2019. For the quarter, the company's Net Sales were USD 1,094.1 million against USD 1,202.9 million a year ago. Operating profit was USD 10.4 million against USD 304.5 million a year ago.
For the six months, the company's Net Sales were USD 2,241.8 million against USD 2,319.9 million a year ago. Operating profit was USD 118.2 million against USD 562.8 million a year ago.
For the quarter, the company reported ore milled of 4,420 Mton against 4,361 Mton a year ago. Ore mined was 9,747 Mton against 10,787 Mton a year ago. Gold production was 7,156 Kg against 7,579 Kg a year ago. Silver production was 506,436 Kg against 538,074 Kg a year ago. Lead production was 19,895 ton against 20,401 ton a year ago. Zinc production was 69,484 ton against 71,054 ton a year ago. Copper production was 2,058 ton against 2,466 ton a year ago. Copper Cathodes was 6,130 ton against 6,001 ton a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported ore milled of 8,756 Mton against 8,593 Mton a year ago. Ore mined was 18,978 Mton against 21,790 Mton a year ago. Gold production was 14,009 Kg against 15,080 Kg a year ago. Silver production was 976,149 Kg against 1,079,511 Kg a year ago. Lead production was 39,576 ton against 39,631 ton a year ago. Zinc production was 139,854 ton against 137,902 ton a year ago. Copper production was 4,632 ton against 5,306 ton a year ago. Copper Cathodes was 11,042 ton against 10,567 ton a year ago.
