Infigen appoints new Independent Director

Infigen Energy (ASX: IFN) announces that Mr Len Gill has today been appointed to the Boards of Infigen Energy Limited, Infigen Energy (Bermuda) Limited and Infigen Energy RE Limited (the Infigen Boards).

Infigen's Chairman, Mike Hutchinson said, 'I am pleased that Len has agreed to join the Infigen Boards. As the electricity market continues to transition I am confident that Len's deep experience in energy markets will add significant value as we implement Infigen's growth strategy.'

Biography - Len Gill

Len is a professional non-executive director with a 35 plus year career in the electricity, gas and infrastructure industries. He also provides energy and management consultancy services.

Len is currently Chair of Family Life, a community support services charity, and a Non-Executive Director of Ecogen Energy Pty Ltd and Ampetus Energy Pty Ltd. His previous roles include Chairman of Alinta Energy, Chairman of Metgasco, Non-Executive Director of WDS Limited, Non-Executive Director of Verve Energy, Managing Director and CEO of TXU Australia and Chairman of South East Australian Gas Pty Ltd.

Len holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Melbourne and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
