Igor Makovskiy: the task of power engineers is to promptly return electricity to homes of citizens in any weather conditions

Several letters of thanks were immediately sent to the branch of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - Smolenskenergo following the results of bad weather in January 2022.

The heads of the Dukhovshchinsky, Ershichsky, Velizhsky and Elninsky districts, as well as the heads of the Duginsky and Maltsevsky rural settlements of the Sychevsky district, Kazulinsky and Vadinsky rural settlements of the Safonovsky district noted the high professionalism of employees of the energy company, their conscientious attitude to business and dedication during the period of liquidation of the consequences of the disaster that hit their districts in mid-January.

The authorities note that thanks to the coordinated actions of the team of the power engineers, it was possible to avoid the serious consequences of a power outage, and socially significant facilities promptly received electricity, including through connected backup power sources.

"The main task of power engineers during the passage of snow cyclones and the elimination of their consequences is to promptly mobilize all forces and means in order to return electricity to residents' homes as soon as possible. We are always ready for such situations, because the weather makes its own adjustments to the operation of the power grid complex, despite our systematic work to improve the quality and reliability of energy supply to consumers," stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
