Intra Energy Corporation makes spodumene discovery at new lithium project

Intra Energy Corporation Ltd (ASX:IEC) managing director Ben Dunn sits down with Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss a spodumene discovery at the new Maggie Mays Hill (MMH) Lithium Project in Western Australia. Dunn talks us through the discovery, which comes hot on the heels of a preliminary rock sampling program conducted in December. He says the company has identified several more pegmatite outcrops across the project area, with significant portions still to be explored. The exploration program is in full swing and Dunn says there should more good news for IEC shareholders in the near future.

“The identification of spodumene at surface on an outcropping pegmatite vein is tremendously exciting and validates the acquisition of the Maggie Hays Hill Project," Dunn said.

"We are very excited by the prospectivity of the MHH Project and with the exploration program in full swing under the supervision of Todd Hibberd, our principal geologist, we believe there is more good news for IEC shareholders in the near future.”

Intra Energy Corporation Limited is an Australia-based diversified mining and energy company. The Company is focused on battery, base and precious metals exploration to support global decarbonization and electrification for clean energy. It is focused on the development of two highly prospective and underexplored projects in Australia, including the Llama Lithium Project and the Yalgarra Project. The Llama Lithium Project is located in the prolific James Bay Lithium District in Quebec, Canada, and consists of 123 mineral claims and covers 6,305 square kilometers (km2). The property lies within volcanic sedimentary (greenstone) rocks of the Dalmas and Escale Formations. The Yalgarra Project is the Companyâs flagship project targeting magmatic nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE mineralization, and is located 125 km east of Kalbarri, Western Australia in the northern sector of the West Yilgarn Ni-Cu-PGE province. The Company also holds an 80% interest in the Lake Johnston Project (E63/2039).
