Notice of Launch of Sales of JES Authorized Refurbishment Parts
Japan Elevator Service Holdings Co., Ltd. (the "Company") hereby notifies that, from June 2, it will begin selling JES Authorized Refurbishment Parts ("this service"). These are parts that, after being collected for recycling when replaced in elevator maintenance, are repaired and serviced to restore them to as-new condition.
JES Authorized Refurbishment Parts
1. Significance of this service
To reduce waste and greenhouse gases that accompany elevator maintenance work, recyclable
parts are collected on replacement before being repaired and serviced to restore them to as-new condition. These restored parts will be sold as JES Authorized Refurbishment Parts.
The Company will place efforts into obtaining recyclable parts and promoting the refurbishment business as part of its efforts toward the stable supply of parts and to achieve shorter delivery times, and also to address environmental issues.
2. Details of service
Refurbishment parts authorization process
Collection: Recyclable parts are collected on replacement.
Disassembly and cleaning: Parts are taken apart and cleaned as much as possible.
Repair and servicing: The condition of the recyclable parts is checked, and any repairs, servicing and part replacement required is performed.
Completion: Quality control testing is performed, and parts that pass this testing are used for this service.
A quality assurance certificate is issued and a warranty period of three years* from completion of the work is established.
Some parts are not covered by this three-year warranty.
