JP-Holdings,Inc. (TSE:2749) agreed to acquire Sotetsu Amenity Lfe Co., Ltd. from Sotetsu Holdings, Inc. (TSE:9003) on July 29, 2016. JP-Holdings will acquire 350 shares in the deal. Sotetsu Amenity reported for year ending March 2016, total assets of ¥420 million, net assets of ¥173 million, sales of ¥570 million, operating profit of ¥49 million and net income of ¥30 million. A resolution to acquire the shares of Sotetsu Amenity and to convert it to a subsidiary was made during JP-Holdings' Board of Directors' meeting on July 29, 2016. Share transfer execution date is expected to be September 30, 2016.

JP-Holdings Inc is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the child-raising support business. The Company operates about 200 nursery schools, about 72 school children's clubs, about 11 children's centers, about 5 private school children's clubs and one kindergarten licensed by the local government. Daycare centers are roughly classified into two types including licensed daycare centers and non-licensed daycare facilities. The Kindergarten children include infants and toddlers in need of childcare.
