Coal sales in the Budryk mine - information for buyers
09.09.2022

Starting next Monday (12 September) the Budryk mine returns to selling coal only during one shift. This is due to selling out the existing inventories of coal in the Orzech (Nut) range. Currently, sales will be conducted on the basis of current production, i.e. 180 tons per day.

The sale will take place from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. However, this is not the end of the changes. The mine is also discontinuing the issuance of numbers. So far, more than 3,000 numbers have been issued (more than 1,000 were issued in the last week alone), and as a result, the waiting time for coal pickup has extended to the end of December. After serving the customers who already have been issued with numbers, the mine will resume issuing them. Information about the resumption of issuing numbers will be published on the jsw.pl website.

The other conditions for the purchase of coal for all those who have previously received numbers remain unchanged. The purchase is made directly at the Budryk mine in Ornontowice. A driver whose details were provided during prior registration arrives to pick up the ordered coal. The vehicle enters the weighbridge, where the documents are issued and payment is made. The payment can be made in cash or by the so-called instant transfer. This is the final stage related to the purchase of coal.

We would like to remind you that each buyer can purchase 3 tons. At the same time, we would like to inform you that JSW SA will not be introducing online sales. It should be noted that the Company is engaged in the production of coking coal used in steelmaking. However, being aware of the situation in the steam coal market, in support of retail customers, JSW's management has decided to launch production of the Orzech coal range, the daily output of which is 180 tons.

We would like to point out that JSW SA does not produce and does not sell coal in the Ekogroszek (Eco-pea) range. Only coal in the Orzech range is sold. It is a coal with low ash and sulfur content, but with high sinterability, which precludes its use as an alternative fuel to eco-pea coal. Its parameters are available in the tab For business partners/Coal and coke/Coal parameters.

The detailed terms and conditions of sale can be found on the website www.jsw.pl/dla-kontrahentow/cennik-wegla.
