BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ Kaman Corp. (KAMN) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $38.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Bloomfield, Connecticut-based company said it had a loss of $1.39 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, came to 70 cents per share.

The industrial distribution aircraft components company posted revenue of $214 million in the period.

Kaman shares have declined 36% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $42.33, a decline of 30% in the last 12 months.
