EQ Partners No.1 Environment Service Private Equity Fund managed by EQ Partners Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 14.3% stake in KC Enviro Services Co., Ltd. from KC Green Holdings Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A009440) for KRW 15 billion on April 26, 2017. Under the terms of transaction, EQ Partners will acquire 0.15 million KC Enviro Services Co., Ltd. shares for KRW 15 billion. In a related transaction, EQ Partners will acquire 0.31 million convertible preferred stock in KC Enviro Services Co., Ltd. in a private placement transaction. Upon completion of the transactions, EQ Partners will hold 33% stake and KC Green Holdings Co., Ltd. will hold 67% stake in KC Enviro Services Co., Ltd. For the year ended December 31, 2016, KC Enviro Services Co., Ltd. reported total assets of KRW 95.6 billion, net assets of KRW 36.6 billion, sales of KRW 18.6 billion and net profit of KRW 4.1 billion. The transaction is subject to anti-trust approval and is expected to be completed by April 27, 2017.
