Investing in the
Canadian Market
KDDI Corporation together with Telehouse, has expanded its global footprint in North America by reaching an agreement with Allied Properties REIT to acquire three data centers and its accompanying assets in Toronto, Canada.
The investment of CAD 1.35 billion came as a result of increased
demand in the market for reliable interconnectivity services which led to
establishment of a new legal entity, KDDI Canada, Inc.
With many North American organizations accelerating digital transformation and
innovation initiatives, KDDI Canada Inc. aims to provide flexible, scalable, and
secure services to modernize, and future-proof IT environments supporting the
sustainable growth of many businesses and contributing to the expansion of the
digital economy.
