” Kempower will continue to expand its business in Europe according to set strategic growth targets. As communicated earlier, Kempower is also exploring different alternatives for expansion in the North American markets”, Ristimäki said.
Chief Operations Officer Sanna Otava emphasized the importance of Kempower's strong domestic supply chain: “We scale up production in two ways: by expanding assembly lines and by developing a strong, local supply network. At the moment, a majority of our materials and components is sourced from Finland.”
According to Chief Technology Officer Mikko Veikkolainen, the scalable and modular product portfolio has proven its strengths in the fast charging market. Dynamic power sharing reduces the unused capacity of charging fields and minimizes charging queues, enabling successful customer experience. "Every charging event is recorded in our Kempower ChargEye backend system, and we continuously monitor the charging success rate", said Veikkolainen.
Kempower has recently signed significant new agreements in all customer groups. “Among charging point operators, I would like to highlight Power Dot from Portugal, Vattenfall from Sweden, and Avia Weghorst, which recently opened the first Kempower charging hub in the Netherlands. We have received new bus depot orders from Denmark, Luxembourg, and Sweden. At the moment, we are seeing the interest in electric truck charging growing rapidly”, said CEO Ristimäki.
Kempower has no direct suppliers or production in Ukraine, Russia, or Belarus. Kempower has a strong domestic supply chain and all company’s products are made in Finland.
