Singapore's Keppel posts 66% jump in first-half profit

(Reuters) - Singaporean conglomerate Keppel Corp on Thursday reported a 66% rise in first-half profit, helped by higher earnings across most of its main businesses and a rebound in the performance of its offshore and marine unit.

The company posted a net profit of S$498 million ($360.71 million) for the six months to June 30, compared to S$300 million a year earlier.
