General Announcement::Receipt of Letter of Demand

RECEIPT OF LETTER OF DEMAND

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Kitchen Culture Holdings Ltd. (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") wishes to announce that it has, on 18 August 2021, received a letter of demand ("LOD") from Mr Lim Wee Li ("Mr Lim"), the Executive Director and a substantial shareholder of the Company, served through its lawyers. The LOD alleges that certain statements set out in the Company's announcement dated 12 July 2021, relating to its responses to queries received from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in connection with the Company's announcement dated 8 July 2021 on the cessation of Mr Lim as the Chief Executive Officer, are defamatory, untrue and have impugned Mr Lim's character, credit and integrity.

The Board, except the Independent Director Mr Yap Sze Hon, is of the view that Mr Lim's allegations are frivolous and without merit. The Board has engaged legal counsel to act for the Company, and to respond to Mr Lim's lawyers. If Mr Lim chooses to bring a claim against the Company, the Company will defend itself vigorously.

The Board will make further announcements on any material developments, as and when required.
