Kwang Ming Silk Mill Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 199.080 million compared to TWD 284.251 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 7.749 million compared to TWD 18.680 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 6.283 million compared to TWD 16.859 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.16 compared to TWD 0.42 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 637.200 million compared to TWD 801.018 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 590.753 million compared to TWD 51.482 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 556.639 million compared to TWD 45.100 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 13.76 compared to TWD 1.11 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 13.7 compared to TWD 1.11 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include cotton cloth, artificial fibers, nylon fabrics, silk, polyester fabrics and weaving fabrics, among others. The Companyâs products are mainly used in the production of wedding dresses, garments, sports, casual wears, household decorations, curtains, industrial fabrics, recyclable polyester textiles and lining cloth, among others. The Company is also involved in the processing of fabrics, as well as the purchasing and distribution of fabric raw materials and products. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan.
