(Alliance News) - Landi Rienzo Spa announced Monday that the boards of directors of Safe&Cec, Safe and Idro Meccanica, all belonging to the group, have taken note of the resignation of

Cristiano Musi as CEO and chairman of the companies. Musi has agreed to go to the role of senior vice president in Clean Energy reporting to the CEO with the task of developing the hydrogen segment.

The resignation will be effective Oct. 1.

The companies' boards of directors have co-opted Annalisa Stupenengo, former general manager and CEO of the Landi Group, as the new CEO of Safe&Cec, Safe and Idro Meccanica, "on the strength of her consolidated and 30 years of experience not only in the mobility sector but also in the research and development of technological innovation projects, with a focus on hydrogen and biomethane applications," a company note reads.

Cristiano Musi was in turn co-opted to the boards of Safe&Cec and Safe on behalf of Clean Energy, taking over from another director appointed by the U.S. group.

Landi Rienzo closed Monday 0.2 percent in the red at EUR0.48 per share.
