ITEM 8.01. Other Events.

On September 14, 2022, Las Vegas Sands Corp. (the "Company") and Sands China Ltd., the Company's majority-owned subsidiary ("Sands China"), issued a press release announcing the submission of an application by Venetian Macau Limited, Sands China's wholly-owned subsidiary, for a new 10-year gaming concession in Macao. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
