GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., - Level One Bank, a leading community bank in Michigan, has hired Craig Sutherland as VP, Commercial Banker. The announcement was made by Gregory A. Wernette, Chief Lending Officer of Level One Bank.

Sutherland joins Level One Bank's growing commercial banking division in Grand Rapids. As a commercial banker, Sutherland will contribute to the Bank's success through the development and management of commercial banking relationships. He brings with him over 15 years of experience in the banking industry and will primarily serve small and middle market businesses in West Michigan.

Prior to joining Level One Bank, Sutherland most recently served as Senior Commercial Lender at Arbor Financial Credit Union. His main responsibilities were developing new commercial lending opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and building brand awareness in the company's growing Grand Rapids market.

Sutherland is actively involved in the Grand Rapids community, where he serves on the fundraising committee for the Healthy Homes Coalition of West Michigan and serves on the Technology Task Force for The Right Place. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics from Western Michigan University and resides in Grand Rapids.
