Lifetime Brands, Inc. Appoints John Koegel as Lead Director; Declares Quarterly Dividend, Payable on November 15, 2013

Effective August 2, 2013, the Board of Directors of Lifetime Brands, Inc. appointed Director John Koegel as Lead Director, a newly-created position. Mr. Koegel has served as a Director since 2008 and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee and as member of the Compensation Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. Mr. Koegel has served as a Director on the Lifetime Brands Board since 2008. He has been a principal of Jo-Tan, LLC for the past eight years. From February 2010 to October 2011, Mr. Koegel was a member of the Board of Directors and Lead Director of Game Trading Technologies, Inc.
On August 2, 2013, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.03125 per share payable on November 15, 2013 to shareholders of record on November 1, 2013.

Its brands include Farberware, Mikasa, KitchenAid, Taylor, BUILT NY, KitchenCraft, Kamenstein, Pfaltzgraff, Rabbit, and MasterClass.
